How you will learn English

Learning through speaking is called the Communicative Method and with us you will always follow a Communicative Method syllabus working on all your English language skills. You will participate in classroom discussions, work in small groups, in pairs or individually. You will practise your English grammar, pronunciation, intonation and accent.

Your lessons will be topic based focusing on various issues from current affairs to everyday issues. Every lesson has ‘ Everyday English’ section for you to learn and practise everyday English. Your professional and friendly teachers will expand on lesson topics helping you to increase your vocabulary, work on your grammar, improve your sentence construction and allow you to express yourself in the correct way.

 

Speak English as much as possible

The more you practise and the more exposure you have to English, the faster your ability and confidence will improve. We encourage our students to use English as much as possible outside class. We want to ensure that you are surrounded by English and this is why:

• Everywhere in our school everybody speaks in English.
• We have activity programmes in all of our schools where you can meet and speak with other students.
• Our teachers also give regular homework ensuring that new vocabulary and grammar structures become easily memorable.

Speaking to classmates and, reading and listening to materials that you enjoy and discovering your new ways of learning English language will all help you improve whilst you are studying at CSE.
Our English courses build your passive knowledge and make your passive knowledge active.
